The fundamental issue which arises in front of a consumer when he/she embarks on buying something , whether online or offline, is to buy safe. In the present day context, learning and analysing the safety measures to be taken before purchasing anything, is very important. A person should keep in mind these few things before purchasing online and offline.

✓ Check the packaging - Product labeling reveals many secrets. Examine the packaging carefully while taking things straight from the shelves. There are both subtle and visible differences in the logo, size, and colours used, or minor spelling errors.

✓ Be alert to the contents - A responsible and reputable brand would never compromise on the quality of its products. Note inconsistency in the texture, smell, and colour of the product.

✓ Stay proactive - Always demand an appropriate invoice for the product purchased.

Online -

✓ Pick a trusted service provider - Pick a trusted service and site while shopping online. It is necessary to ensure that they are a reliable source and have good customer service. 

✓ Know your rights and the company’s returns policy.

✓ Research retailers online to make sure they’re legitimate.

✓ Avoid offers that seem “too good to be true” - Sometimes seller gives you cheap and damaged products at low cost. 

✓ Always check the company’s shipping terms - Some merchant’s charge exorbitant shipping fees that can turn a shopping bargain into an expensive mistake.
